I am sure some of you think of bungee cord jumping or ski diving, or some other activity that is very exciting. This to me is just a thrill. It is not in my opinion extreme. Sort of like getting chased by a large dog. A lot of people probably think of their personal challenges. That bicycle trip across Amsterdam, or walking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. These are fun, and interesting, and may have required more endurance than you thought possible. But…. Nah!… Just putting one foot in front of the other and following the person in front of you. That is not extreme.
I think extreme starts when you cannot find the person in front of you, or the person behind you. Where no amount of talk seems to convince others to go with you. It seem outside their realm of thought, or consideration.
It’s a only your dream… Then you do it.
Alone, without the safety net
