Scott Stoll specializes in talks that focus on adventure-travel, inspiration and living your "impossible" dream. Scott tells both entertaining and enlightening stories of his adventures, using his bicycle ride around the world as a real-life example and a metaphor for your own journey; afterall, a bicycle is like life -- to keep your balance, you must keep moving.

The bottom line:

The main key to the success of Scott's presentation is simply the opportunity for people to connect with a real person with a real story of hope and inspiration, and the opportunity, by the end of the day, to not only have dreamed a dream, but to have taken an actual step on their own journey. In other words, the adventures are real, not fantasy; the lessons learned and moments of enlightenment are real-life experiences, not theory or rumors or cut-and-paste from another book; therefore, if Scott can live his dream, so can you.

Format:

Lectures usually run 45-90 minutes with about 120 slides (he has over 4000 photos to choose from) including a question and answer period and book signing. Lectures can be customized for your special event.

• Of course, Scott has two books so people can re-imagine the journey, and to help actualize some of the life lessons.
• He can also bring the bicycle and panniers.
• Beautiful bookmarks with several dozen photos.
• Books and bookmarks can also be part of a raffle prize or trivia contest.

I think a lot of companies or groups or schools would pay big money for you to share life experiences and techniques for dealing with setbacks and challenges you faced while cycling around the world. Rates

I don't have a set speaking fee, as every school and every presentation differs slightly, and some require dozens of hours of preparation and travel time. At the moment, my book and presentation are my only sources of income; however, even if you don't have a budget I'm sure we can discover some mutually beneficial opportunities, as my slideshow often generates many new opportunities.
