The short story: Scott has worked for over ten years in advertising and graphic design, which has served as the foundation to his life. His claim to fame is that he rode a bicycle around the world in a quest for the meaning of life, which he chronicled in his critically acclaimed book Falling Uphill, and has led to being a Cultural Ambassador with the US Dept. of State. Now that Scott has returned to the "real world" he is putting into practice the lessons he learned to help build mutually beneficial business relationships. More about Scott.

Marketing Blurb: If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much are ideas worth? Scotty combines talent for conceptual based ideas and job experience as both a copywriter and graphic designer along with real world experience to give clients functional and aesthetic products with a smile.

Job Title: Senior graphic designer. (Also known to be an art director, copywriter, photographer, production artist, painter, author, bicyclist and/or adventurer.) Currently working as a self-employed designer, and as a contractor with the creative placement agency C2GPS and Creative Circle.

Experience: Over ten years experience working for some topnotch ad agencies, like TBWA/Chiat/Day the year they won “Ad Agency of the Year,” down to mom and pop shops, and dozens of places in between as a member of the Aquent talent team. In general, Scott has been responsible for the concept, design and production of corporate identities, print ads and collateral, including the copywriting and assisting in broadcast art direction and production. Scott specializes in corporate identities (logo design) and retail and branding advertisement, primarily print but also broadcast. He has also designed thousands of collateral pieces (websites, brochures, direct mail, catalogues, annual reports, billboards, posters, books, magazinse, &tc.), and done numerous photographs, illustrations and photo retouching.

Continuing Education I continue take classes in self-improvement and the arts, such as the Corcoran School of Art in DC, Landmark Education in San Francisco. More importantly, I believe in taking my education into my own hands — I've learned more from life than I ever learned in a classroom. And recently I am an adjunct professor of graphic design at Antonelli College

University Planet Earth Masters of Life. 2001-2005 Curriculum: 41,444 KM bicycle tour of 59 countries and 6 continents. My goal was to cycle the circumference of the planet, a trial by fire to temper my character and discover the world. Minor in Life. 1997. Curriculum: 10,609 KM bicycle tour across the USA from coast to coast and border to border. (A warm up to my world trip.)
